Mr. Russell Townsend Berglund age 88 of Blairsville passed away peacefully at his home on Friday May 31, 2019. Mr. Berglund was born on August 9, 1930 in Cambridge, MA., the son of the late George W. Berglund and the late Grace Townsend Berglund. He was a veteran of the US Navy of the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW. Russell was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Goss Berglund in 2005. Mr. Berglund attended the Unity Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment to follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery.
