Elwin was the only son of Mauritz and Ethel Anderson of Bristow, Nebraska. He passed away from a strangulated intestine. He underwent surgery, but died from complications. He was survived by his older sisters, Lois, Doris, and Phyllis. My mother-in-law, Carol, was born after Elwin's death.
