BEDFORD - Paul D. Calhoun , 59, a retired auto and tire repair manager, died Tuesday at a local nursing center.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Visitation: 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials: Alzheimer's Association or Bell Choir Fund at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.
Paul Calhoun was born June 9, 1936, in Palo Pinto County.
He was an Army veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hurst and was associated with First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.
In addition, he was past president of the Mid-Cities Little Dribblers Association and Euless Athletic Association.
Mr. Calhoun was retired from management in auto and tire repair at Leonards, Tandy Corp., Firestone and Cordy Tire.
Survivors: Wife, Joy Newman Calhoun ; two sons, Keith Calhoun and Dale Calhoun ; daughter, Teresa Womble; brother, Bob Calhoun of Keller; four sisters, Jetta Lee Abels of Azle, Lorrine Knight of Weatherford and Wanda Dark and Glenda Nance, both of Richland Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
