Donini, Olga Mazula WILMINGTON, N.C. Olga Mazula Donini, 93, of Wilmington, N.C., passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCenter in Wilmington. She was the wife of the late Adolph J. Donini, whom she married, December 7, 1945. Born in Waterford, N.Y., June 18, 1924, a daughter of the late Wilford and Anna Kanischak Mazula. She was a graduate of Waterford High School, was very involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1498 in which her husband Adolph was a founding member, and the Red Hats, and was a parishioner of St Mary's Church, all in Waterford.
She is survived by her daughter, Nora Williams and her husband, Richard of Wilmington; her son, Douglas P. Donini and his wife, Patti of Round Lake, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Ryan Donini and his wife, Valerie, Lindsay Donini and her companion, Anthony Disiena, Monica Williamson and her husband, Troy, and Brian Cavitt; her great-grandchildren, Cole Williamson, Nash Williamson, Kieley Cavitt, Ross DiSiena, Chet DiSiena, Wade DiSiena, Veronica Donini, and Dominic Donini.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Polly Cunninghan, Rose Kozersky, and Helen Kowansky; and her brothers, Ed Mazula, John Mazula, Michael Mazula, Joseph Mazula, and Albert Mazula.
"Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that's how I will remember you. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all".
