Pauline Josephine Dorsey died on November 3, 2012 at the age of 87 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norwalk, CT November 16, 1924. She and her husband, Louis R. Dorsey, Sr, celebrated 65 years of marriage this past July.

Pauline devoted her entire life to the love and care of her family, raising her four children and three grandchildren. She was a warm, nurturing woman. Even the campers where she and Lou worked for many summers called her "Mom". Pauline worked as a telephone operator in the early years of her marriage. She also ran the camp nursery for many years and had various part time jobs in Westport, CT including for the publisher Alfred Knopf.

Pauline had many friends from Maine to California especially in Rangeley, Maine where the Dorseys summered for nearly 50 years and and Westport, CT where she raised her family. Her husband, Louis Dorsey, Sr was a Physical Education teacher and Coach in Westport school systems. They retired to Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1986. Pauline loved and cherished people and they returned that love to her. She had a gorgeous smile that lit up her face and we will never forget it.

A mass of Christian burial was held at Church of Our Saviour on Wednesday, November 7th.
