A Hopkinsville man died of injuries from a two-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon in Todd County. Kentucky State police said Harold Eugene "Buck" Harris, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene at Kentucky 181 and U.S. 68 after the vehicle he was riding in collided with another vehicle and overturned. The wreck occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Harris was riding in a Chervolet Astro Van driven by his brother, Donald W. Harris, 58, of Hopkinsville. Donald Harris was pulling a small trailer behind his van and was westbound in the right lane on U.S. 68 as he approached the traffic light at the intersection. The other vehicle, a dodge van driven by Leonard W. Ward, 38, of Elkton, was morthbound on Kentucky 181. Donald Harris went through the intersection first. Ward then entered the intersection and hit the trailer on the driver's side, which ripped the trailer and hitch off of Harris' van, police said. Harris' van crossed the left lane and hit the median, causing the vehicle to overturn. Harold Harris was not wearing his seat belt, police said.
