Late Lieut & Captain in the Grenadier Regiment of Foot Guards. He was the fourth son of Major Allen of Broomsgrove in Worcestershire and of Louisa, fifth daughter of Charles Fitzroy the first Lord Southampton. He served honourably in the above Corps upwards of twelve years and was present at the memorable Battle of Wateloo
