Mrs. Ella Goebel died at her home on Triplett Wednesday Sept. 22, after a long illness of cancer of the stomach. She was a daughter of the late I. N. and Zelda (Bartlett) Epling. Her mother died a month before. She was united in marriage to Adam Goebel of Pennsylvania, and to this union were born two sons, Paul and Ralph Goebel, and three daughters Mrs. Philip Carpenter and Elma and Ivy Goebel.

She was a member of the Little Creek Baptist church and was faithful until death.

Funeral services were conducted by her pastor Rev. M. P. Lowe after which the remains were laid to rest in the Little Creek cemetery.
