Jacquelyn "Jackie" Helton Crnkovic (a former resident of Hemphill, Texas) passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her residence in Bridge City, Texas.
Jackie was born on November 2, 1937 in Waynesboro, Tennessee to Lawrence and Lillian Helton. She had worked many years as the Office Manager for Property Damage Appraisers before her retirement.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook for others. She also enjoyed flowers and music.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred Crnkovic of Bridge City; daughters, Deborah Crnkovic/ Jerry Vickers of Orange, Texas and Kelly Obey and husband, Ron, of Magnolia, Texas; brother, Lawrence Helton and wife, Marie, Of Rayburn Country, Texas; grandson, Seth Obey of Magnolia; and several nieces, nephews, and Braxston Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jonell Helton.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daryl Segura officiating.
Burial will be held following services in Yellowpine Cemetery.
