Wilma Joyce Mitchell Smith, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mrs. Smith was an active member of University Baptist Church and the manager at AL Credit Union at UAH from 1971-1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Smith; parents, Claude and Fleeta Mitchell; one sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include daughter, Sharon Burson (Walter); son, Steven Smith; grandchildren, John David Smith and Andrea Mika; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Smith and Caleb Smith.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 10th, at University Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Dr. Bobby Burt officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
