TERRIBLE DISASTER - Explosion of a Powder Mill.
Wilmington, Del., Sunday, Aug. 23. - About five o'clock yesterday afternoon, a terrible explosion occurred at DuPont Powder Mills, on the Brandywine, shattering the building to atoms, and killing Mr. DuPont, the proprietor, Antony Dougherty and Edward Hurst, and mortally wounding Louis Vache. Two others were injured, but not fatally.
