Jerry A. Chenoweth, 79, of Lincoln, died November 4, 2014. Born 9/1/1935 in Chicago, to William and Marjorie (Charlton) Chenoweth. Raised by grandparents. Byron & Essie Charlton. Attended Roca Public Schools. Retired Lincoln Telephone Company, Nebraska Air National Guard. Member Frank H. Woods Telephone Pioneers, Nebraska Military Retiree Council, Air Force Sergeants Association, Denton Legion Post, National Guard Association, Masonic Lodge Hickman, Lincoln Scottish Rite, Sesostris Shrine, Sesostris Little cars, Lincoln Amateur Radio Club-WOYSW. Jerry was a kind hearted husband, dad and grandpa, he died battling Alzheimers.

Survived by wife of just short of 58 years, Jan; son, Scott, Roca, Neb.; daughter & son-in-law, Julie & Steve Hawkins, Papillion, Neb.; grandchildren, Brooke Chenoweth, Bryce Chenoweth, Lincoln, Brady Chenoweth, Roca, Spencer & Lauren Hawkins, Henderson, Nev., and Skyler Hawkins, Oklahoma City (fiance Taylor Kathe of Omaha); sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Pauline & Charlie Hoover, Roca, Donna & Cloyd Steeves, Panama, Neb., Ellie & Louie Gome, Lincoln; 10 nieces & nephews.
