Darleen V. Foster, 80, of Evansville passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home. She was born February 13, 1939 in Rockport, IN to the late LaVonna (Payne) and William Wangler.
Darleen was an Inspector for Guardian Industries for 32 years and retired in 2001. She was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 265, VFW 1114, and was a member of T.O.P.S.
Darleen is survived by her husband of 62.5 years, Robert Foster, Sr.; daughter, Nina (Robert) Daywalt; grandchildren, Justin Daywalt and Carly Crooks; step grandchildren, Tamora Wilhelm and Shad Klos; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Frieda Burns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Foster, Jr.; daughter, Dena Powers; and brother, William Wangler.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
