Gary Wayne Hinshaw, age 68 of Estill Springs, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Tennova Harton Healthcare in Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, he was born on September 20, 1950 to the late Raymond and Ruby (Clark) Hinshaw. Before his retirement, he was employed for over thirty years at George Dickel. Gary enjoyed fishing, rabbit hunting, and working on his corvette. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church and attended Oaklawn Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his sister, Laura Tipps. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Carolyne Hinshaw of Estill Springs; daughter, Brandi Stephens of Winchester; grandsons, Gage Stewart and Jesse Stephens; step-mother, Tiny Hinshaw of Winchester; siblings, David (Joan) Hinshaw of Estill Springs, Mark (Lolene) Hinshaw of Winchester, Darlene Champion of Winchester, Carolyn (William) Hill of Estill Springs, and Nancy (Tom) Hill of Estill Springs; brother-in-law, Mike Tipps of Estill Springs, step-brother, George Hall of Manchester; fourteen nieces and nephews; and twenty-two great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Pastor Noah Hinshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
