Margie E. Ables, 91-year-old Pryor resident passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Pryor Hillcrest Hospital. She was born on October 5, 1927 in Strang to Edward A. and Meoma A. (Sullivan) Kinion. On July 7, 1945 she was united in marriage to Ralph A. Ables in Pryor, he preceded her in death in 1996. Margie was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Pryor. She enjoyed bowling, going to the lake, crochet, and gardening. Margie loved her family, friends and church.
Family who preceded her in death include her husband, parents, her children, Frank Ables in 2016, Margaret Couch in 2015, Susan Brown in 2019, and Sheila Jensen in 2000; siblings, Gerald Kinion, Don Kinion, Bruce Kinion, and Wayne Kinion.
Survivors include; her children, Bob Ables and wife Tari of Pryor, Pam Sien of Oologah, Patty Potteiger and husband Tim of Owasso; siblings, Jack Kinion, Leta Mathis, Norma Erwin and Linda Lamar all of Pryor; numerous, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Stephens-Key Chapel.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 4:00 PM at The Gathering Church, with Pastor Josh Greer officiating. Interment will follow at the Benge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
