Carl Woody Pinkerton of Cardington, Ohio passed December 20, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born on June 17, 1937 in Pleasants County West Virginia. He was the son of Ernest Richard Pinkerton and Lilly Idaway (Malone) Pinkerton. They preceded him in death. Carl was an avid worker in his garden. He enjoyed working his ponies, and honey bees. He worked in the oilfields for W. B. Armstrong and George Campfire. He retired from Chattanooga Glass in Mt. Vernon. Carl had his own water well drilling business in the seventies and early eighties. Carl is survived by his children; Terry A. (Billy) Wright of Grain Valley, Missouri, Richard L. (Twila) Pinkerton of Marengo, Ohio, Karl Lance Pinkerton of Cardington, Ohio, Woody R. (Belinda) Pinkerton of Centerburg, Ohio, Besty D. (Tim) Smith of Marengo, Ohio, Tonya L. (Mike) O’Quinn of Hayside, Virginia; lifelong friend, Paul Baker; friend in Christ, Dennis Cowles; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
