MOUNT OLIVE -- Teva Autry Draughon, 92, of 501 Smith Chapel Road, died on Good Friday morning, March 21, at her home.

Services will be held Saturday, March 22, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, of which she was a longtime member. Dr. Dennis Atwood and the Rev. Arthur Warren will officiate. Visitation will immediately follow the service, and, at other times, the family will be at the residence. A private interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Draughon, a native of Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Addison and Doshia Grantham Autry; and the widow of James H. Draughon Sr. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Brady Autry, Sidley Autry and Lincoln Autry; and a half sister, Cora Slade.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, J.H. Draughon Jr. and Bobbie Draughon of Mount Olive; her twin daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothea and Darwin Evans, Dorothy and Charles Sykes, all of Mount Olive; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
