Bonita C. Ketrenos
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, in St. Johns Christian Church for Bonita C. Ketrenos, who died of cancer Oct. 14 at age 86.
Mrs. Ketrenos was born Nov. 5, 1910, in Portland. Her maiden name was Houck. A homemaker, she married Robert in 1937; he died May 16, 1997.
Mrs. Ketrenos was active in her sewing club for more than 60 years. She also was a member of the Rebecca Montavilla Lodge, Jantzen Beach Bowling League, Sigma Phi Epsilon Mothers Club at the University of Oregon, and a former PTA president at Roosevelt High School in 1965-66.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonny K. McInroy of Portland; sons, Robert E. and Barry J. both of Portland; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her son, William G., died in 1971.
Private interment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. The family suggests remembrances to the Hospice Visiting Nurses Association Foundation. Arrangements are by Hustad Funeral Home.
