Alice Jocko married Francis Mixceney in Emmet County, Michigan, on May 15, 1917, when she was 18 years old. Francis “Frank” Mixceney died on December 19, 1918, in Pellston, Michigan, after 1 1/2 years of marriage.
Her first 2 children, Henry “Hank” [Mixciney] Field (1922) and Bessie [Mixciney] Kage (abt 1924), were born out-of-wedlock, several years after her husband passed. They originally had the surname of her deceased husband, 1930 census. It’s unknown if Hank chose Field, or it was his biological father’s surname, and Bessie used the surname of her stepfather, and 1/2 siblings, 1940 census.
Alice Jocko married Walter L Kage in Petoskey, Michigan, on January 1, 1929, when she was 30 years old. They had 2 children, Thelma (1932) and Donald (1934). They couple were separated/divorced by 1935, as Walter married Mamie Tilk that year.
Alice Kage married Theodore A Coblentz in Boyne City, Michigan, on October 24, 1941, when she was 42 years old.
Her daughter, Bessie M Kage, had a child, John Darrell Hart, with John A Hart, on May 9, 1950. The child passed on July 27, 1951 in Petoskey. It is unknown if the pair were married, or what became of Bessie.
Her daughter, Thelma Marie Kage, was born September 21, 1932 in Nahma, Delta, Michigan, and passed on April 13, 2006, location and burial unknown. She was possibly married to a William A Jones, but nothing is definitively known.
