Officer Johnny Garcia was killed in an automobile crash while responding to a call
involving a drunk driver whose car was stuck in a fence on I-10. His patrol car struck a
patch of loose gravel and overturned near the intersection of State Route 84 and Pert
Road, near Casa Grande.
