Paul Odessa PLETCHER, 91, of Corn, Oklahoma, died March 5, 1994 at Southwestern Memorial Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 9, at Full Gospel Church in Perryton. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home Inc. of Weatherford.
He was born June 28, 1902 in Webb City, Missouri, living in Oxen and Wagen, until he and his family moved to the Perryton area in 1908.
He attended Lone Tree School, and farmed in the county. He married Alice KILE on April 18, 1926 in Perryton. The couple moved to Pampa in 1951, where he entered private business. He retired in 1991, and moved to Corn in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; five brothers, Henry, John, George, Noah and Silas; and four sisters, Martha, Lydia, Anna and Ruthie.
He is survived by five sons, Paul Allen PLETCHER of Pampa, Henry PLETCHER of Magnolia, Arkansas, Tommy PLETCHER of Perryton, Floyd PLETCHER of Canyon and Dale PLETCHER of Fort Worth; two daughters, Roberta McCLENTHAN and Bertha OWENS, both of Portland, Oregon; one brother, Harvey PLETCHER of Perryton; one foster brother, Marcus ADAIR of Canyon; one sister, Esther ADAIR of Perryton; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
