Mr. Robert D. "Bob" Foti, age 56, of Billerica, died Thursday at Saints Medical Center, Lowell after a lengthy illness. He is the husband of Vittoria (Gallo) Foti, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. He was raised in Lynn, the son of the late Dominic and Helen (Demetro) Foti. He has lived in Billerica for the past 32 years.
A mechanical engineer, Mr. Foti is a graduate of Tufts University, class of 1972. He was a member of the Woburn Sportsmen's Association and a member of the BMW Car Club of America. He was a collector of Lionel model trains and was also a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons; Christopher Foti and his wife Stacey of Woburn and Jamie Foti and his wife Robyn of Maynard; 1 grandchild; Amelia Foti of Woburn; and 1 brother; Don Foti of FL. He also leaves a brother-in-law, Nickey, a sister-in-law Rita; his other in-laws; the Tucker Family, the Alexander Family, and the O'Grady family, as well as many friends. He is the son-in-law of the late Peter Gallo and brother-in-law of the late Maria Alexander.
