Actress. She was an American actress, known for her roles in "Girl Rush" and "Music in Manhattan" in 1944 and "Sing Your Way Home" in 1945. As the happy-go-lucky girl next door type, she started her Hollywood career at age 19 with the stage name of Patti Brill; her maiden name was Brilhante. In her short career, she had minor roles in comedies, dramas, and even a horror film. She turned from films to television in 1949. Of her 33 roles, twenty-one were uncredited and some of the credited roles were unnamed secretaries, showgirls or saloon girls. Her last role was an unnamed hostess in the television series the "Donna Reed Show" in 1960. During and after World War II, she became involved with nursing paralyzed war veterans. After marrying very young to William Harold Knight, a dancer, and divorcing him, she married Hugo Edward Fredlund on September 24, 1950. Fredlund was paralyzed from the waist down as a result of being wounded in action during World War II, necessitating the use of a wheelchair. She received much coverage from this relation in the media. The marriage was over by 1956 and both remarried. She married Egbert Albright, who died in 1959 of a heart attack at age 35. As a widow, she married for the fourth time, becoming Mrs. Osborne in 1961, then dying in 1963.
