Olivia Ballin was born on October 5, 1957, in San Bernardino, California. Daughter of Marcos and Margaret Ballin in San Bernardino surrounded by all her family. Her father then moved the family to the San Bernardino Valley for work where she went to school and grew up with her brother Mark and friends. After having her first daughter, Roxann, she and her then husband Louie, moved back to San Bernardino where they managed Mill Street Storage. Olivia began her work in the medical field working for the public health department as an investigator. In the late 1980's, Olivia and Roxann moved back to the Valley where she married and lived with her second husband, Hector, in North Hollywood where they welcomed their second daughter, Cassandra. They later brought a home in Camarillo where she again worked for the public health department and began the challenging journey of attending nursing school and graduated in 1999 from Moorpark College. In 2000, she moved her and her daughters back to the Valley to be with her mother and family. Finally in 2002, Olivia made the bold move of purchasing her current home, the Hubbard House, that she has so graciously welcomed her family and friends and had now become the legacy that she left to her daughters and granddaughter. Friends and family have come for the past 15 years and we will continue to welcome them in her honor. She died on March 11, 2017, at the age of 59.
