Rella is loved, honored and revered and will be greatly missed by surviving family members: daughter: Wanda Martin Hicks (Junior) and son: Dwayne Clinton Martin (Debbie); granddaughters: Kristi Hicks Harrison (Jesse), Mary Elisabeth Martin and Sarah Martin; grandsons: Travis Hicks (Holly) and Jonathan Martin (Kendra); great-grandchildren: Maryica Upton, Drew Hicks, Grace Collier, Joshua Collier, Royce Harrison, Eloise Martin, Felix Martin, Leilani Martin and Levi Martin; sister: Dorothy Valentine and brother: Johnny Ross (Rita); many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Clinton Martin; son: Glenn Martin; parents: Henry Ross and Jessie Shannon Ross; brothers Herbert Ross, Homer Ross and Kenneth Ross and sister Geneva Ross Headrick.
Paying of respects will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Glenlock Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Tennessee, Vonore Road. Funeral Services are at 12 p.m. noon with Rev. Clayton Dunsmore and Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating. Interment to follow in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
