Darek Lance Keller, the son of Lance and Julie (Brandt) Keller was born on October 15, 1972 in Rugby, North Dakota. He died at the age of 46 years on Sunday, June 23, 2019 near his home in rural Bantry, North Dakota.

Darek was raised in the home of his parents and was baptized and confirmed at the Bloomfeld Lutheran Church in Upham. He graduated from Upham High School the class of 1991 and for a short time, continued his education at the Fargo AeroTek School. He worked for Aggregate Construction out of Minot for several years. Darek also ranched in Stanley before moving to Bantry to ranch with his uncle. He loved the outdoors, loved his cows, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Darek is survived by his parents, Lance and Julie of Upham; his grandmother, Elaine Brandt of Upham; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Brandt and grandparents, Edgar and May Keller.
