Transferred to Co. I,28th Reg. N.C. Troops. Wounded and Captured at Gettysburg, Pa. 7-3-1863, confined at Ft. Delaware De. Transferred to Point Lookout Md. on Oct-15-1863. Died at Point Lookout on 8-24-1864.
