Betty Lee Price-Reed, 81, of Princeton went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 17, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Princeton, she loved flower beds and going to Bingo with her husband. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Born July 23, 1935 at Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ralson Price (1909-1974) & Roberta B. Neal-Price-Deskins (1917-1994). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Reed-Price (1966-2010); three sisters, Norma Jean Price (1942-1942), Marie Ella Price (1938-1940) & Loraine Price (1939-1939); a brother, Bernard Price (Deceased); and a great granddaughter, Danielle LeeAnn Six (2011-2011).
Those left to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 57 years, Issac “Eddie” Reed of the home; daughters, Donna Reed-Matthews, Shirley Reed-Thomas & companion Russell Walker, Juanita Reed-Lynch & husband Joe Lynch all of Princeton; a sister, Joyce Price-Gates & husband Ottie Gates of Charlotte Hall MD; sister in law, Shelvie Price of Sterling Park VA; eleven grandchildren; twenty four great grandkids; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Erma Jean Hudgins & Bobby Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.
