Norma was born on July 2, 1929 . She was the third youngest of 14 children - 12 brothers and 1 sister, all of whom preceded her in death. Norma passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.

On February 22, 1958 Norma married Cosimo.

In 1975, Norma was widowed and lost the one true love of her life. Norma never remarried and was laid to rest with the first Mother's Day card from Cosimo that she kept 54 years.

Norma worked as a seamstress for many years, supporting and raising her daughters as a single parent. Norma's skill as a seamstress was remarkable as she could replicate anything with no pattern.

Norma was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a warm, fun-loving, compassionate, proud and vibrant woman with great love for the rest of her family and friends and with a passion for life and adventure. She was an amazing cook in both Ecuadorian and Italian cuisines and had a wonderful sense of humor. She had a knack for jokes and a gift for reciting the most difficult of tongue twisters without skipping a beat. All of these attributes and so many more endeared her to everyone she came in contact with on her many travels through Europe and South America. It is a great testament to her nature that she formed so many long-lasting friendships over the years.

Her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
