BELL, Mary Regina Joyce - 67, Petite Riviere, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully surrounded by her children in her home on Saturday, June 24, 2000. Born in Summerside, P.E.I., Joyce (known as "Irish" to her siblings) was a daughter of the late Brent and Adele (Gallant) MacDonald. She married Carl Bell of Petite Riviere and moved there to live in the mid 50's Joyce worked within the Lunenburg County School Board from the mid 70's until the early 90's, both at the Board's office and throughout the rural elementary school system. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Emeneau, First Peninsula, Lunenburg Co.; sons, David, Bridgewater; Daniel, Hammonds Plains; Thomas, Branch LaHave, Lunenburg Co.; Timothy, Dartmouth; James and Craig, Petite Riviere; eight grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Woolaver, Fredericton, N.B.; Helen McLauchlan, Stittsville, Ont.; Jeanette Ferrish, Sussex, N.B.; half-sister, Olive Clements, Summerside, P.E.I.; brothers, John, Summerside, P.E.I.; Gregory, Hunter River, P.E.I. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Carl; infant son, William; brothers, Alfred, Eric; stepbrothers, Elmer "Tugger' MacDonald, Gerald "Sonny" MacDonald, Wilfred Blacquiere. A church service celebrating her life will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bridgewater on Friday, June 30, at 2 p.m., Rev. Paul Morris officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family flowers only. Arrangements have been entrusted to R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
