MCCOMBS, MRS. RUBY GWIN, age 85, of Pinson, died May 7, 1998. She was a Christian lady and a devoted mother and grandmother. Graveside service Saturday, May 9, 1998, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation Friday evening, from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. Survivors: sons, Paul D. McCombs, Jr., of Morris, Ken (Brenda) McCombs of Gardendale; daughter, Irene McCombs, of Gardendale; grandchildren, Clark (Melba) McCombs, of Morris; two great grandchildren, Lauren and Lisa McCombs, of Morris; brother, Paul Gwin, of Morris; sisters, Cecil McCombs, of Morris, Lucille Wilson, of Philadelphia, MS; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
