She was born July 31, 1928 in Nelson County, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Butler Sr. and Anna Ethel Morris Sweat, and a daughter, Tina Chubbuck.
Survivors include: her husband, Bruce Chubbuck; three daughters, Jeanette Googin of Kirkville, NY, Beverly Buffett of Okinawa, Japan; one son, Allen Chubbuck on Canastota, NT; one brother, William Sweat of Illinois; and two sisters, Leora O'Dell of Pulaski, Va. and Helena Montgomery of Elizabethtown.
Funeral Mass was at 10 am, June 20, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, New Hope, with burial in the church cemetery. Father Tom Hommrick officiated.
Pallbearers were Jeanette and Tim Googin, and Beverly, Tony, Lisa and Pat Buffett.
Prayers were at 6:30 pm, June 19, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, which was in charge of the arrangements.
