Born in Washington, D.C., she was the widow of Oscar ''Cotty'' Halme. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, Devon Manor Garden Club, and 3rd Order Carmelite.
Survivors include four daughters, Nora H. Glenn of Arlington, Va., Maggie Halme of Dracut, Mass., Ginny Shaw of Norfolk, Terry Moore of Lake Milton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
