Biography
Elizabeth, daughter of Heinrich Bollinger (1752–1804) and Mary Magdalene "Molly" (Savits) Bollinger, was a beneficiary in her father's 1803 Lincoln County will.[1]
Elizabeth's first husband, Daniel Shuford, died between January and April 1807 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. Their only child, a daughter named Mary M. "Polly," likely was the namesake of her maternal grandmother.
23 February 1810, Lincoln County deed book 25: 466. John and Betsy Dellinger sold 156 ¼ acres to James Erwin for $140.50. "Betsey Dellinger lately Betsey Bollinger [who is a] legatee of Henry Bollinger dec'd. and John Dellinger Junior by his intermarriage with said Betsy is entitled to one undivided fourth part of 625 acres [each of the four Bollinger daughters had a share of 156 ¼ acres].
Elizabeth and husband John Dellinger migrated to Clark County, Indiana, where John died circa 1841 and Elizabeth died after the 1850 census and before the 1860 census.
