Burton E. Berry, 19, of Roosevelt Ave., Poughkeepsie, died on Sunday (July 22, 1962) evening in Vassar Hospital, Poughkeepsie, where he had been a patient about a month.

He was born in Wheelock, Vt., Dec. 21, 1942, son of Garold A. and Dorothy R. Snelling. On Nov. 12, 1961 he married Judith Mary Booth of Poughkeepsie. Mr. Ber­ry graduated from Greer School at Verbank in 1960 and had been employed as a cashier at the Grandway store in Poughkeepsie. He was a member of the Hedding Washington St. M.E. Church in Poughkeepsie. A former res­ident of South Millbrook, he lived the last eight months in Pough­keepsie.

Surviving are his wife and par­ents, all in South Millbrook; two sisters, Elaine R. Berry and Nor­man Lee Berry; four brothers, Amos G., Charles A., Douglas F. and Wayne R., all of South Mill­brook; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Berry, Lydonvtlle, Vt., and his maternal grandpar­ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Snell­ing, Windsor, Vt.; one niece, Pamela Ann Berry, of South Millbrook.

Tentative services will be held at 10 am. Wednesday at the Rob­erts Funeral Home in Wappin­gers Falls. Interment will take place in the New Hackensack Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm. Tuesday evening.
