NOBLESVILLE — Lillian Irene (Rasler) Flanders, 82, Noblesville, died June 24, 2007, at her residence.

She was born July 1, 1924, the daughter of Homer and Lela (Fritz) Rasler.

She was a member of Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesville. She married Harold Flanders on April 15, 1945, and he died in 2007. She was a homemaker and had also worked for J.C. Penney in Noblesville. She was a graduate of Atlanta High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had been very active in Hamilton County Farm Bureau as women's leader and served on the Board of Directors. She was also a member of Prairie Farmerettes Ladies Organization.

In addition, she loved to play organ and piano.

Survivors include a son, Steven Harold Flanders; three daughters, Susan Irene Rogers, Sherry Ann Sheller and Shelly Lynn Lyons; grandchildren, Kimberly (Rogers) Nixon, Clint Flanders, Chad Flanders, Adam Sheller, Aaron Sheller, Jimmy Lyons and Caroline Lyons; great-grandchildren, Zachary Nixon, Hayley Nixon, Jared Flanders, Drew Flanders, Chloe Flanders and Kendall Flanders; three sisters, Julie Leas, Phyllis Phelps and Barbara Stewart; and a brother, Charles Rasler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Flanders; and a son-in-law, David Sheller.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, with Pastor Clint Flanders officiating. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
