Helen E. Briant, 86, Richmond, MO, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2002, at Ray County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, at Snow Chapel, Richmond; burial in Richmond Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ray County Veterans or American Heart Fund. Mrs. Briant was born February 24, 1916, in Ray County, MO. She worked for Blairs Furniture for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern M. Briant, brother, Howard K. "Jack" Davis, and grandson, Lonnie Lee Briant. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Dunwoodie, Camden, MO; sons, Mitch Briant, Hardin, MO, Wayne Culver, Lincoln, AL; brother, Donald Davis, and sister, Waunetta Teegarden, both of Richmond,MO; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.
