Mrs. Blanche Thompson, 82, of 325 Holly Drive, Terra Linda, died at a local hospital shortly after suffering a cerebral stroke Saturday.
Deputy Coroner Keith Craig reported that Mrs. Thompson suffered a stroke at 1 p.m. and was taken to the hospital where she died at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Thompson was the widow of Harvey W. Thompson, building engineer and manager in Fresno.
A native of Merced County, Mrs. Thompson had been a resident of Fresno for many years. She had been a resident of San Rafael for 6 years before she moved away about 6 years ago. She returned to live in Terra Linda last January (1967).
Mrs. Thompson was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists of San Rafael.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Aileen Hansen and Mrs. Carl V. Darnall, with whom she lived; and Mrs. David R. Lawrence of San Rafael; and a brother, Lewis H. Gillham of Fresno.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
