Viola retired from the VA hospital after more than 30 years of service. After retirement, she and Herman enjoyed raising cattle, ranching, fishing, and traveling, both in the states and abroad. Viola loved football and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas A&M, and TCU. After moving to Mineral Wells in 2018, she enjoyed shopping, putting together puzzles, and playing bingo and 42.
Viola is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was well loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
