Douglas Alan Richards November 9, 1952 - September 17, 2012 Doug Richards, 59, died September 17, 2012. A memorial service will be held on September 28th, 6:00 pm, at First Baptist Church-607 N 13th street, Boise, ID. Doug was born November 9th, 1952 and left a body that failed him but gained a new body and a beautiful new life with his Lord. Doug left behind many brothers and sisters in Christ. He loved and was deeply loved by the congregation of First Baptist Church. Doug was an incredible example of determination and faithfulness. He never let his disabilities govern or determine his life. He chose to give God the glory for his strength and his weakness. Doug served the community as a substitute through the Boise school district. He also served his church family throughout the week and on Sundays at First Baptist Church. He could be counted on to serve, give, and listen whenever he was needed. Doug will be sorely missed. His father, Charles Richards, his mother, Sidney Richards, his sister, Sharon Ganschow and his brother Randy Richards, preceded Doug in death. His nephew, David Richards, his aunt Melvina Malone, and his brother Cody Richards survive Doug.
