John James Allman (Ullman), October 1, 1918 - August 9, 2003, passed away at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni.

James was born in Roseheim, Alberta, and lived in Victoria and recently moved to Echo Village in Port Alberni to be closer to his family.

James was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Mary, on October 7, 2002.

He is survived by son Martin (Linda) Ullman of Port Alberni; daughter Lynne (Bernie) McAleese, Edmonton, Alberta; son Paul Ullman, Prince Rupert and son David Ullman of Comox; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews in Edmonton, Alberta.

James was a long time sales rep (30 years) for Rowntree now Nestle's Canada until his retirement. James was also a long time member of the A.C.T. (Associated Canadian Travellers).

A memorial service. will he held in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Service, 4725 Falaise Drive, Saanich, B.C. on Monday, August 18, at 10: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
