William age 82 of Howell, formerly of Dearborn Heights, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home. He was born in Detroit, the son of William R. and Genevieve (Schell) Loudon.
Beloved husband of Helen L. (Line) Loudon; loving father of Peter T. Loudon and Curtis Loudon, grandfather of Faith and Collin; step-father of Amy, Dawn, David, Penny and Angela Line; also grandfather to Cherie, Clarice, Vanessa and brother of Donna Kowalski.
William served the Dearborn Heights Police Department for 25 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Detective. He loved talking with people, especially spreading the Word of God. He was a fan of western music, Captain Marvel comic books and collecting hats. He was known as a perfectionist, loved decorating for any and all holidays and was a very loving, kind man.
