Daughter of the late Harry James Henderson Sr. and Ethel Lee Henderson of Charlottesville, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cat, Mr. Wiggles, she thought of as her very own child; and her brothers, Edward Johnson and Harry James Henderson Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Larry Anderson of Charlottesville, VA.; two brothers, Michael Johnson of Schuyler, VA. and Samuel Henderson of Charlottesville, VA.; two nieces, one nephew, and two great-nephews. Although she and her husband never had biological children together, she viewed his as her own; so also to cherish her memory are daughter, Stacy Washington, sons, Domonic Lewis, Andre Lewis, Maurice Lewis, and Lamont Lewis, all of Charlottesville, VA.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homecoming services were held at First Baptist Church, 632 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA. J. F. Bell Funeral Home, 108 Sixth St. N.W., Charlottesville, VA.
