She attended grade school in rural Oklahoma moving to Garber in 1921, where she graduated from in 1931.
Irene married George Logan on February 19, 1935 in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in August 1998.
She helped George on the farm and run the service station in Garber. When Irene wasn't working on the farm or service station you could find her spending time with her family and friends.
Irene was an active member of the Garber United Methodist Church, UMW, the THW Club, and Quilters Club.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Garber United Methodist Church, in Garber, Oklahoma. Pastor Linda Pope will officiate.
Interment will be in Garber Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home.
Irene is survived by two sons, Larry Logan and his wife, Lila of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Kelly Logan and his wife Tracy of Enid, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.
