Tuesday noon at the old Powell
homestead in Bethlehem township.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs.
Minnie Crooks Armstrong, with
whom she made her home, a
daughter, Liona, and a son, Alva
A. Crooks, having preceded her in
death.
She is also survived by five
grandchildren,Inez Crooks Willey
of Chicago, Adra Cooks Adkins of
California, Fanny Crooks of Bethlehem
township, and Ruth C. Armstrong
of Manchester college, besides
several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crooks lived nearly her entire
life on the old Powell homestead
and was the last of the family
of Jacob Powell. She was a
sister of the late Dr. Jehu Z.
Powell.
The funeral will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 from the
home of T. T. Armstrong in Bethlehem
township, conducted by
Rev. Giroulx.
Burial will take place in the
Bethlehem M. E. cemetery.
