Mable Christine Meadows, 79, widow of Woodrow Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Iron City, TN, on July 15, 1940, to the late Dewey and Irene Gambrell. She was retired from Walmart, where she worked as a greeter and was a member of Mt. Sterling Gateway Church of God.

Survivors include two children, Cheryl Ann (Dee Dee) Walling and Jimmy Dale Russell; three grandchildren, Mandy (Mike) Watson, Christy (Bobby) Watkins and Shawn Russell; three great grandchildren, Nathan (Alisha) Watson, Preston Martin and Madison Watkins; one great-great granddaughter, Leigha Watson; one sister, Ollie Rippy of TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle and Verline Nash; and son, Sydney Wayne Russell.

Services will be held at a later date.
