Who's To Blame?
Men Blame Street Car for Accident; Passengers Say It was an Inoffensive Goat
______________
Who's to blame for an accident which occurred near the Brookvale school house yesterday afternoon when William Jones and a companion named Kirk were thrown from a buggy? It appears that the horse driven by the two men became frightened and threw them both out. Jones, who drives for John Graham of Leisenring sustained a broken arm.
Jones says the accident occurred through his horse scaring at a West Penn Street car, but passengers on the trolley say that the men were dumped out before the car was close enough to frighten the animal. They sat the horse reared up when it noticed the approach of a boy's wagon drawn by a billy goat.
Jones was taken to the hospital here where his injury was dressed. The accident occurred about four o clock yesterday afternoon.
