A precious young lady ~ Elyssa Grace Orejuela ~ was gently carried by angels to her Heavenly home on July 20, 2018. She was known to be her 'Daddy's Princess'.
Elyssa and her twin brother ~ Elijah ~ were both found in their babysitter's pool on Friday morning, July 20th and were taken to East Tennesse Children's Hospital. Elyssa died that same day and Elijah 2 days later.
A service honoring the lives of both Elyssa and Elijah was held on Sunday, July 29th at Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville.
*In May of 2018, the owner of the daycare was served with an injunction forbidding her to operate without a license and was ordered to shut down. The owner did not comply with the order and even advertised that she ran a licensed facility. She has been charged with 2 counts of criminally negligent homicide.
