Henry Manning Clagett, 94, of Accokeek, Maryland, died on July 22, 2019 at Restore Health in White Plains.
Born on May 2, 1925 in Accokeek, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lizzie Ditty Manning and Henry Hawkins Clagett.
Manning was a Real Estate Broker and owned Clagett Realty for 50 plus years and was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps having served during World War II.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Accokeek, a long- time member of the Perseverance Masonic Lodge in Indian Head, Past President of the Accokeek Lions Club and Founding Member of the Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, Manning was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Christine O’Brien Manning; brother Oswald Thomas Clagett.
He is survived by his children Diane Hoesch, Lee M. Clagett (Gail), James T. Clagett, Charles E. Clagett (Maura), Richard H. Clagett (Donna); 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
