~✾~Safe in the Arms of Jesus~✾~

A precious young man ~ Elijah Gabriel Orejuela ~ was gently carried to his Heavenly home by angels on July 22, 2018. He was known to be his 'Momma's Boy'.

Elijah and his twin sister ~ Elyssa ~ were both found in their babysitter's pool on Friday morning, July 20th and were taken to East Tennesse Children's Hospital. Elyssa died that same day and Elijah passed away 2 days later.

Several people were given a second chance at life due to organ donation. Two children were given Elijah's heart and liver. His kidneys, pancreas and intestines were given to adults.

A service honoring the life of Elijah and Elyssa was held on Sunday, July 29th at Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville.

*In May of 2018, the owner of the daycare was served with an injuction forbidding her to operate without a license and was ordered to shut down. The owner did not comply with the order and even advertised that she ran a licensed facility. She has been charged with 2 counts of criminally negligent homicide.
